Dr. Emmanuel O. Egbogah has over 35 years of geological and petroleum engineering experience in Canada, United States, South/Central America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Asia/Pacific Region. He is an internationally recognized authority in the fields of improved/enhanced hydrocarbon recovery, field development planning and integrated reservoir/asset management. He is currently Executive Chairman for Emerald Energy Resources Limited, an indigenous Nigerian Oil and Gas Company, the Operator of OPL 229 in the Niger Delta.

HUGH REID, P.Geol.
Technical Advisor

Hugh is an internationally recognized expert in DST interpretation and hydrodynamics. His training seminars, "DST Interpretation for Geologists and Engineers," have been presented in over 17 countries to more than 200 companies over the past 25 years. Hugh worked for 7 years with Mobil Oil and for over 25 years as an independent consultant. He has authored several DST manuals and technical articles on formation damage, closed chamber DSTs in tight gas sands and exploration hydrodynamics.

SALAR SAID , MSc. Civil Eng.
Technical Advisor

Mr. Salar Said is a Civil Engineer with more than 35 years of experience. He holds a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Mississippi, USA. He has worked in Europe, USA, Canada and the Middle East. Salar is presently working with a major Canadian Oil and Gas EPC company based in Calgary. After the liberation of Iraq in 2003, Salar was asked to participate in the Iraqi reconstruction efforts and joined the Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA) as the Housing and Construction Advisor from 2003-2005. In addition, he worked as an advisor to the United Nations Oil for Food Transition Team in Kurdistan, and supervised the transfer of housing and construction projects in excess of $100 million dollars from United Nations to the Kurdistan Regional Government in Erbil.

Robert Bain
Consultant

Mr. Robert Bain has 38 years of Canadian and International exploration experience. Mr. Bain has worked on projects ranging from wellsite geological supervision of a multi-well drilling program in Spain for Tenneco Oil & Minerals to a Senior Exploration Advisor for Ranger Oil Limited, assessing exploration and/or development projects in Iraq, Libya, Cote D’lvoire, Angola, South Africa, Eritrea, Jordon, Brazil, Peru and Trinidad. Most recently he has been working as an independent consultant on projects in Trinidad, Syria, Portugal, Hungary, and Iraq. Mr. Bain has experience in numerous geological basins and brings creative solutions to geological challenges.

BRIAN HAMILTON, P.Geol.
Technical Advisor

Mr. Hamilton has 27 years of Canadian and international exploration experience. He held the position of Senior Staff Geologist with Veba Oil Operations, Tripoli Libya for 10 years and has worked as a Consulting Geologist exploring the potential of Libya's Sirte, Ghadames and Murzuq sedimentary basins. Brian has worked as an Exploration Geologist for Saskoil, Intercity Gas Resources, Hudson's Bay Oil and Gas and Shell Canada (Minerals). Brian brings enthusiasm and his extensive exploration experience to Groundstar.
